Currently 1/5 stars.Price paid:$150.00Pros:Fast, Quiet, Looks, UpgradeableCons:Heavy, Maintainence, FrameLooks - AppearanceI think it looked alright, not to great but I would do. The milling was kind of boring but it was done very well, no flaws. They all had a color and black parts which was a little different from the Prostock's pure one color. There are a lot of cocker parts that can be used for performance and cosmetics. I didnt find any worth spending on this gun since I didnt mind the looks in the first place.Accuracy - PerformanceOnce you put a real barrel on it, its deadly accurate and when it works it really performs well. The stock barrel was like 8 inchs or something and had a huge bore that would send paint flying in lots of directions, and was very inconsistant. I put a Freak on it and all of that changed.
Accuracy is probably the biggest thumbs up for this marker.Speed - PerformanceThe Worr Frame was alright, It was electric and thats about it. In it was a couple of modes but once again nothing special. The E-Blade and E2 were a lot better than this, in every aspect.
I didnt really like the trigger that much either but that is all personal preference. Overall the gun was capable of decent speeds and was satisfactory.Feel - PerformanceIt was a really heavy gun, and didnt balance out very well at all. You cant expet many cockers to be super light though. It was just an all around bulky gun and the back blocking was pretty annoying. This really threw off my game but that could just be me. Cockers are bound to some people and that definitally isnt me.Sound & Kick - PerformanceThe gun was pretty quiet, just the little bit of the sound from the back block, but it was pretty good. Being that its not a spool valve, it is extremely quiet.
On the other hand, this gun kicked like crazy. Once you start firing at over 9 BPS you will definitally notice your barrel rising and its kind of annoying until you get used to it.
You can dare to tune for better performance, I didnt because I was always busy trying to keep the gun actually working.Efficiency - PerformanceThe efficiency was good, around the same as a stock Ego, nothing to complain about here. I was getting around 5 pods and a hopper off a 68/4500 tank. Definitally an efficent marker.Maintenance - ReliabilityOhhhhh boy. Well, probably the worst maintainence experience I have ever had. The LPR would always screw out during the game and I wouldnt know at that time how to fix that problem so my gun was always down. Taking out the bolt is simple, but everything else is a real pain. Even adjusting your velocity is a pain in the buttox.
If you dont know what your doing I would not recommend this gun at all. Even if you think you know what your doing, make sure you are 100% sure you can work on these because you will regret it if you dont. Some people can make magic with cockers, im not one of these people.Bang4Buck - ValueDepends, can you handle maintainence? Can you handle the Weight? Then sure it is. Cockers in general are great markers if you can get it working correctly but for some thats to much work. Learn about them first, then buy them.Disclaimer - Please ReadI take time on my reviews to make them honest and non-bias as possible, on most occasions I will spell check them and revise to.
The point is I take a lot of time on this and do appreciate good ratings, or bad ratings if you feel it deserves it. Before rating please read the full review and base your ratings on my review and not the gear and my opinions on it, if you do I have no control over that but please do it just to be nice. Currently 1/5 stars.Price paid:$130.00Pros:cheap, highly upgradeable, fast, reliableCons:lots of external moving parts, external pneumaticsI got this gun for $130 off of actionvillage. It was a great buy, You really cant go wrong with an autococker.
This gun is extremely upgradeable and serviceable, and it is easy to find any spare or upgrade part on the internet. This gun is very fast and has an eye system, so chops are virtually eliminated. However, there are alot of external moving parts (ram, backblock, bolt, guide rod) and they can be broken if hit, and are a terrible pain to clean. Also, the front pneumatics are exposed, and hoses or valves can easily be broken if hit or dropped. This gun also requires compressed air and a good hopper to unlock its full potential.
All in all, if you are looking for one of the best markers that money can buy for the least money a person can spend, the wgp superstock is for you. Length of use:More than 6 monthsOverall Rating:. One is that is a lighter and more compact autococker. It is easy to stay tight to your bunker with. Another reason is the performance you recieve at the price level.
The superstock will shoot at the ability that a karni does and you will pay up to 200 dollars less for it. Length of use:Less than 6 monthsOverall Rating:. Currently 4.5/5 stars.Appearance:. I tend to scare people at the feild because of the rate of fire this can get stock! I listed the Worr frame as a con because it isn't quite like a eblade but it is simple and gets the job done well. I also would rather have two screws for the ASA.
This gun just looks sick and preforms like it too. I feel that there are not many other better looking guns (Karnivor, freeflow guns). I would buy this agian and reconmend to anyone. Length of use:More than 6 monthsOverall Rating:. Currently 4.8/5 stars.Appearance:.

Only 1 problem out of the box: the ball detent was too tight thus restricting bolt movement. An o-ring on the detent was the quick fix. Very decent marker in stock form. I test fired 2-3 pods with the select fire frame.
If this was my first electro cocker I'd be happy and not know any better. I immediately upgraded the frame and board, keeping the stock eye and WGP solenoid to an e1.
The difference from the SF to the e1 wasn't significantly noticeable on factory fast settings, but after some tuning she was capable of running up to 20+ bps, which is more than enough considering I average 10bps while shooting. The SS body is a great candidate for mid or half blocking.Equipped with the SF frame, force fed hopper, HPA tank, and a barrel kit. Out of the box, it didnt work and took me a while to figure out what it was. It ended up being the grip screws shorting out the noid, very dumb. Being a closed bolt marker, you almost have to have a barrel kit unless you like paintballs rolling out the barrel. The entire time I had my s/s, I hated it, it was very unreliable.
Something happened everytime I played with it, And I am no where near being a newbie, I have been playing for around 8years, the gun is just plain, not reliable.

No B/S/T.(community moderated)(community moderated). So I've decided that I want to get into woodsball. The whole running around in the woods with some guys going hunting for people just makes my jimmies all tingly lol. Maybe at some point i'd get into speedball, but not for at least another year or two. With that in mind, let's discuss markers for the 400th time lol.The 98custom and a5- cast aluminum, chops paint easily, noisy, etc.
Generally looked down upon like most, unless the situation changes because I mainly want to play woodsball.I've seen some others like the G-1 by GoG, and the Project Salvo by Tippmann. What are the opinions of those?Spyder MR series??Any others? I'm trying to stay under $200 for my first marker but the max I'd go is $225 at most. For C02 vs nitrogen, about what's the equivalent size to a 24oz C02 tank in terms a nitro? I know for nitro you want to shoot for about 48/4000 or something like that.
I'm not looking for over kill, just enough power to get the ball downrange accurately and without too much drop I guess? What is going to give you more shots/tank, or does it depend on the gun and how it uses either or?For a hopper, because i really don't care for autocockers or to be able to put like 100 balls down range in a matter of seconds, I just chose theFor a mask I picked out the because i remember when I was younger and when I would play, my goggles would fog up and I couldn't see jack. Is this mask alright, or would somebody recommend something else/better?I know the only things I really need now if I want to go balls deep is a harness, tubes for the harness, a vest, gloves, and camo.Should I buy my own paint? Or just save the money because a lot of fields want you to use their own?. Most Autocockers work just fine with the Proto Primo anyway.
They're mechanical markers, although some come with an electronic trigger and eyes. The electronic trigger is actually helpful with preventing half-trigger pulls that would cause chopping.I've seen on my local Craigslist a couple of Autococker Trilogy Comps with Select Fire, that do semi-auto, 3-round burst, and full auto. The BT Omega is pretty heavy in comparison.
A lot of unnecessary weight that don't go to improve performance. So the general rule of thumb to prevent chopping would be don't press the trigger unless 100% certain you want to fire?A lot of unnecessary weight that don't go to improve performance.Everyone keeps mentioning weight. Sure, I understand in the summer that depending on where you live, you may as well be visiting Satan, but does it really tire you out more? Would it all depend on the type of clothing you were wearing, and how many extra tubes and balls you have on you while playing? From what I remember, which isn't all too well but none the less, I could have sworn that the 98c wasn't really too bad. I was also young at the time so maybe it seemed a tad heavy but still. While I'm typing this I started looking at gun weights. The 98 only weighs 3 pounds while the BT Omega weighs 6.
Add a 3 pound tank on the back and I could see why you want a light gun for the most part. The chopping issue with Autocockers is that people often did a half-stroke of the trigger, which didn't allow the marker go complete a full cycle. The electronic trigger avoids that by doing the equivalent of a full stroke every time.As far as weight goes, during the summers I wear a Camelbak plus up to 6 pods of paint. That kind of weight doesn't affect you as much as what you're carrying in your hands, because my pack is carried using larger muscle groups.Carrying around a 6 pound weight in your hands may not seem like much, but you do notice it quicker than you would with a lighter setup.
I don't use a remote line, so everything (marker, loader+paint, air) is all in my hands. The difference in mass is also the difference in time swinging it around to aim. You want the Gog.enmey. It's mechanical, takes compressed air or CO2, doesn't have a sear to wear out like on any other mechanical gun, light, efficient for a mechanical gun, and in your price range.
And it comes in black for tactical reasons.Milsim is all aesthetic unless you get into mag fed. Scopes and rails will do nothing to improve your game. I also shoot real guns and I shoulder and hold them completely differently from my paintball gear.I know you're new but get out there and do some research. There is tons of easily accessible info out there. Do some researchI have been. Theres only so much common sense stuff you can infer though.
Sure, the gun can tell you the bps and fps of the gun, but wtf is the difference btween a 24oz co2 tank and a 48/3000 nitro tank? Does that change the fps/bps of the gun? Or is there a regulator/do i need to buy a regulator for the gun? Is the 24oz c02 and the 3000 nitro relatively the same?Reddit isnt just for posting pretty pictures of things. I can ask questions here just the same as if i wanted to go to yahoo answers or a paintballing forum on another website.
No question if a dumb question if you dont know the answer to it. Co2 is an unregulated liquid in the tank, it expands into a gas when entering the gun, just like any reaction it's not always going to be the same, compressed air (nitrogen) is in a consistent state from the time it goes into the tank until it comes out the barrel. All compressed air tanks have a regulator to ensure that 800 psi comes out the same every time. What that means as a user is more consistent shots, consistency is the closest thing we really have to accuracy. The gog has an additional regulator on there to increase consistency. Along with the regular it's a spool valve design that allows a much smoother shot, sure the 98 you rented probably seemed great being the only gun you have used, but once you shoot something of a different design (not a gas blowback) you'll realize how much easier it is to get on target and stay on target.
Shot after shot. Weight is the next thing, sure you can handle the extra pound or two, but why? Why purposely get something that's heavier, less consistent, rough on paint, and a pain to take apart and clean. The gog enmey is the absolute best gun in the price range, it's durable, light, consistent, and smooth. All of that paired together is going to lead to a much better day of play.
Sure, the gun can tell you the bps and fps of the gun, but wtf is the difference btween a 24oz co2 tank and a 48/3000 nitro tank? Does that change the fps/bps of the gun?Fps is feet per second. It's a measurement of the speed of the ball as it is leaving the barrel. Bps is balls per second. It measures your rate of fire. The fact you seem to think these terms are interchangeable shows you're lacking in some basic knowledge in this regard.Air source has no effect on bps whatsoever (until you run out of course), unless you want to get into things far beyond your level of knowledge like recharge rates. All guns are calibrated to be shooting at somewhere in the 275 or 280 fps range when they go out onto the field (assuming people are playing properly).
Once the energy has been imparted to the ball the source no longer has any meaning, so in this sense there is no difference between the sources on a ball's fps either. There can be a difference in consistency between shots, though, between the two systems. The purpose of research could be said to be knowing what questions to ask, which is why your level of research is being called into question. I know they arent interchangeable, i just didnt add and/or between the two. I just didnt know if there were pros/cons to using nitro/co2 outside of psi consistancies when shooting the gun.
For somebody who wants to play casually the only things you really need to know are how to clean the gun, that it requires air to shoot, and remember to pull the trigger. I wouldnt know or even begin to know that guns have restrictions on the fps of a ball or that tanks have regulators to ensure consistant fps. I want this to become a long term thing so it kind of helps to be dumb in this regard because people go wtf are you talking about. I then get to ask questions about things i didnt even know existed/mattered.

Please remember this. No B/S/T.(community moderated)(community moderated). I've noticed that I get a lot of looks from kids these days when I go to play because of my markers. I've always enjoyed the mechanics of how a 'cocker works.
My friends always give me hell because I'm always tinkering with them and they're low maintenance kinds of guys. But, I really do enjoy it. I recently purchased a Proto Rail just so I'd own at least one low maintenance gun that will fire, reliably, just about every time.
I used to play front for the most part, so all of my guns are configured to be tight. Hell, sometimes I even pull out the Warp Feed. Imagine the looks you get with those. The sport has progressed to a point where all the new guns look the same (for the most part). I'd rather play with a classic, that looks amazing, and can out-perform their new guns on any day of the week and twice (literally) on Sundays. The E-Orry I had shooting at 28bps and 64psi until my MQ2 broke (And you can't find those anymore.) But hell, the cap is 12.5bps nowadays anyway and every field has all day air.
I guess what brings me to this post is the ignorance of the newer generation of players. I had some kid tell me, 'Sweet steampunk.' Maybe 'I'm getting to old for this shit.' Left:Drallion (Orracle Clone) PumpAmid a Pump Retrofit and a polish job. I'm sanding all of the anodizing off of this one and going to polish and clear the bare metal. Apparently Kee owns the patent and the tech is in the mini/axe.
Maybe you could adapt it over if you are the tinkerer type.' OK, here's where things stand: There will be another small (20 units) batch of valves when I get a chance to machine some more parts (around July).
I have one more year (2011) of depreciation on the CNC lathe. This gives me a reasonable tax advantage to doing some business this year, but anything I make over $2000 will be taxed at around 50%.
I'm not about to spend 9 hours on the road only to give half to.gov. Short of a miracle, it's unlikely that production will continue past those next few units. To those of you who have suggested outsourcing, getting. on by retarded vendors is one of the things I do at my day job. I'd prefer not to do that during my down time. No.ing way.Licensing? Work out a deal with them and I'll tell you everything I know about making the MQ.'
I did not try to imply that the newer markers are not top notch. I was trying to describe the mentality of the newer players. They think that just because a marker is older means it can no longer complete with the current generation of markers. In some instances, yes, that is true. But, what I'm trying to say, is with the markers that I have and play with, that statement could not be further from the truth.'
Twice (literally) on Sundays.' At my local field, most rec players come play on Sundays. With tippman 98's and Spyders. Great markers for entry level.
But, nowhere near the same league.
